Mr. Bryan was destined to be the owner of a preschool, and he has been the owner/operator of The Goddard School located in Princeton since 2004 when the school opened! His retail and customer service background, combined with a passionate love for children, made it a logical choice. Mr. Bryan has a proven track record of 20+ years successfully running small businesses prior to opening The Goddard School located in Princeton. Add in his experience raising his own two daughters, and it is easy to see why Mr. Bryan's school was named "Rookie School of the Year" in its first year of business, as well as being in Goddard Systems' "Circle of Excellence" almost every year since. Mr. Bryan resides in Upper Freehold, NJ with his two children and a menagerie of animals. Running The Goddard School located in Princeton is Mr. Bryan's full-time job and he is very proud of his School AND its teachers. Mr. Bryan looks forward to meeting you when you come for a visit!
Miss Donna is the Director of our school. She graduated with her Associates Degree in Psychology from Middlesex County College. She has been with The Goddard School since 2016. Miss Donna has served as a Lead Teacher in our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten program. She is from New Brunswick, NJ and enjoys spending her free time shopping, reading, and hanging out with her friends. Miss Donna has been working with children of all ages for many years in the school setting. When asked why she enjoys working with children, she said because “They make me happy and I love seeing their faces light up when I enter the room!” Miss Donna is so excited to learn something new from the children each and every day.
Ms. Melissa is the Director of our school. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Centenary University. Ms. Melissa has been with The Goddard School since 2017. She has served as a Lead Teacher in both our toddler and preschool programs. Her passion for working with children began when she was working as a nanny and a paraprofessional aide in a preschool classroom. When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she said because, “Everyday is always something new and exciting. There is no greater joy for me then to be in a field where I am providing children with a fun and safe learning environment!”
Ms. Jennifer is the Assistant Director of our school. She has been a part of The Goddard School since 2004! Ms. Jennifer attended Middlesex County College where she studied Early Childhood Education. Ms. Jennifer has an incredible amount of love and passion in working with younger children. Over the years, she has devoted her time into providing a fun and nurturing environment where children can grow into the little individuals they are meant to become. Ms. Jennifer is a mom of two, who both attended as infants and graduated from The Goddard School. In her free time, Ms. Jennifer likes to spend time with family. When asked why she enjoys working with in early childhood she said, “it is enjoyable to see how excited they get when they learn something new!”
Miss Briani is the Lead Teacher of our Preschool II classroom. She is a graduate of Princeton High School and also earned her CDA Credential. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, makeup and fragrance, going on walks, and spending time with her godson! She speaks Spanish and also studied Mandarin all throughout high school. Miss Briani's previous experience in working with children includes working as a Lead Teacher in local school. When asked why she enjoys working with children Miss Briani said, "children are the world’s future leaders and the best gift - I’ve always wanted to be teacher!"
Ms. Charlotte is the Lead Teacher in our Preschool I classroom. She is originally from Ghana and spent many years in Atlanta before relocating to the Princeton area. Ms. Charlotte has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Rasmussen College. In her free time, Ms. Charlotte likes to relax, listen to Gospel music, travel, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren. Ms. Charlotte has been working in early childhood education for over 20 years! When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Charlotte said, "They have a lot to teach me as well. I strive to have a positive impact on their lives and learning. It is my goal for all of my students to be successful in life"!
Ms. Colleen is the Lead Teacher of our Pre-K I classroom. She has been working at The Goddard School since 2015! She attended Middlesex County College where she obtained her Associates Degree in Applied Science, as well as being a certified Teacher Assistant. Ms. Colleen is always finding new and innovative ways to engage the children to learn through fun and playful activities! Ms. Colleen’s experience in working with children started when she was a teenager and has loved every moment of career since. In her free time, Ms. Colleen enjoys to read, spend time with her son, family, and dog! When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she said, “no two days are ever the same. Children can find wonder and joy in the most simple experiences or the most complex activities. You never know what adventure you will have on any given day!”
Ms. Dorrit is the Lead Teacher of our Infant classroom and she has been working at The Goddard School since 2004! Ms. Dorrit attended Bethany College in West Virginia and completed her Child Development Associates Degree through Goddard University. Over the years, she has devoted hard work, love and compassion in nurturing all of the babies in her care. In her free time, Ms. Dorrit enjoys listening to music, reading, entertaining and cooking for her friends and spending time with her nephew and two brothers. When asked why she enjoys working in early childhood she said, “there can never be enough people in their lives to love them, nurture them, listen to them and encourage their dreams.”
Miss Natalie is the Lead Teacher in our Pre-K II classroom. She attended Eastern University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a background in Early Childhood. Miss Natalie joined The Goddard School in 2021 with experience working with children as a babysitter and teacher in her church’s nursery school. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting, and baking. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Natalie said, “everyday is something new and it’s an honor to be a part of the future!”
Miss Sarah is the Lead Teacher of our Toddler I classroom. She graduated from Wheelock College with a Bachelors Degree in Human Development and a concentration in Early Childhood Education. Miss Sarah has been at The Goddard School since 2007! Her passion and dedication for working in early childhood allowed her to receive her Masters Degree in Education while still working at our school. Her past experiences in working with children includes student teaching with four and five year olds as well as working as a Student Director Intern where she assisted in preparation for NAEYC accreditation. In her spare time, Miss Sarah enjoys reading, going to the beach, going to the movies, shopping with friends and taking her dog to the park. When asked why she enjoys working with in early childhood she said “it is amazing to watch them grow and develop. Also with a laugh or a hug, they make a bad day better!”
Ms. Anusree is an Assistant Teacher at our school. She is currently working towards her degree in Clinical Psychology from The College of New Jersey. Her previous experience in working with children includes working as a preschool assistant teacher at her high school and caring for her younger cousins. She is also works with Bonner Community Scholars where Miss Anusree participates in community service activities with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In her free time, Miss Anusree loves baking, spending time with family and friends, and cozying up with her favorite book. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Anusree said, “there is so much to learn when working with children, there is no greater experience!”
Ms. Brenda is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler classroom. She is a graduate of Grand Canyon University and holds a Medical Assistant Diploma. Her previous experience in working with children includes working as a Sunday School teacher, a preschool age photographer, and mother. In her free time, Ms. Brenda enjoys hiking, working out, photography, and spending time with her family. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Brenda said, “children remind me of the simple things in life!”
Ms. Dolley is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Ms. Dolley is originally from India where she earned a Master's Degree in English Literature from St. Michael's Medium School. Ms. Dolley also holds her Child Development Associate credential. Her previous experience in working with children includes working at another childcare center. In her free time, Ms. Dolley enjoys reading books and listening to music. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Dolley said, “watching children learn through play is so rewarding!”
Ms. Iryna is an Assistant Teacher at our school. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Ternopil National Pedagogical University in Ukraine. Her previous experience in working with children includes being a Kindergarten English teacher in Ukraine. In her free time, Ms. Iryna enjoys spending time with her children, walking, and reading. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Iryna said, "they encourage you to use your imagination and find new, creative ways to do a variety of things"!
Miss Julia is an Assistant Teacher in our Get Set classroom. Miss Julia's previous experience in working with children includes babysitting for children of various ages. In her free time, Miss Julia enjoys going for walks and watching movies. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Julia said, “I have the special opportunity to shape the future by having a positive influence in a child's younger years!”
Miss Katie is an Assistant Teacher in our Get Set classroom. Her previous experience in working with children includes working at another childcare center as well as being a mom to her own little one! In her free time, Miss Katie enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Katie said, “helping children explore their curiosities and learn new things is a beautiful thing!”
Ms. Kelin is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler classroom. Ms. Kelin is originally from Guatemala and a graduate of Hightstown High School. Her previous experience in working with children includes working at another childcare center as well as a nanny. In her free time, Ms. Kelin enjoys hiking with her husband and dog, painting, and spending time with friends. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Kelin said, “playing a role in their learning is the best feeling!”
Ms. Kirti is the Assistant Teacher in our Preschool I classroom. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from KTHM College in India and an Early Childhood Diploma from Dhriti Academy. Her previous experience in working with children includes being a preschool teacher in India. In her free time, Ms. Kirti enjoys exercising, reading, listening to music, gardening and crafting. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Kirti said, "I love that children are so honest and innocent."
Miss Lizbet is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends! Miss Lizbet's previous experience in working with children includes babysitting for children of all different ages. When asked why she enjoys working with children Miss Lizbet said, "there is nothing better than watching their eyes light up with fascination over the littlest things!"
Ms. Lorraine is the Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She is a graduate of Hamilton High School West and still resides in her hometown. She is an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary Colonial Volunteer Fire Company. Her previous experience in working with children includes babysitting. In her free time, Ms. Lorraine enjoys crafting, playing bingo, and spending time with her family, friends, and cats. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Lorraine said, "I'm excited to have the opportunity to learn from the children every day"!
Ms. Lorraine is an Assistant Teacher in our First Steps classroom. She is originally from Puerto Rico and graduated from Trenton Central High School. Her previous experience in working with with children includes working at another childcare center. In her free time, Ms. Lorraine enjoys reading, going to church, and spending time with family. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Lorraine said, "children are so much fun to be around!"
Miss Mackenzie is an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. Her previous experience in working with children includes working at another childcare center. In her free time, Miss Mackenzie enjoys traveling, spending time with her cats, painting, and doing makeup. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Mackenzie said, “children bring joy and laughter to all situations and I love being a part of that!”
Ms. Michele is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler classroom. Miss Michele is a graduate of Allentown High School and also attended the University of North Carolina Asheville. Her previous experience in working with children includes working at another childcare center as well as volunteering at her church's summer camp program since she was in middle school. In her free time, Ms. Michele enjoys shopping, crafting, and spending time with her daughter. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Michele said, “it is so much fun to watch children learn and grow!”
Ms. Namitha is the Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University in India. Her previous experience in working with children includes being a substitute teacher as well as volunteering in her children's schools. In her free time, Ms. Namitha enjoys stained glass painting. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Namitha said, "I love children and I believe that I can understand them to help support their growth".
Ms. Olha is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant classroom. She is originally from Ukraine where earned an Accounting and Audit Degree from Ternopil Academy of National Economy. Her previous experience in working with children includes being a babysitter for children of various ages. In her free time, Ms. Olha enjoys hiking and biking. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Ms. Olha said, "witnessing their curiosity and happiness makes me happy"!
Miss Breena is an Assistant Teacher in our Preschool classroom and a graduate from Montgomery High School. Her previous experience in working with children includes working at another childcare center. In her free time, Miss Breena enjoys painting, watching crime documentaries, cooking and baking with her mom, and taking care of her pet bunny. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Breena said, “I love being a part of their growth and development, it's always an honor!”
Miss Sherly is an Assistant Teacher in our Toddler classroom. Her previous experience in working with children includes working at another childcare center and babysitting family. In her free time, Miss Sherly likes playing games and watching documentaries. When asked why she enjoys working with children, Miss Sherly said, “it is an incredibly fulfilling occupation and children warm my heart!”
Miss Trinity is an Assistant Teacher in our Get Set classroom. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and doing makeup and eyelashes! Miss Trinity's previous experience in working with children includes babysitting and caring for her siblings, cousins, and being a mom to her own little one! While in high school, she earned the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. When asked why she enjoys working with children Miss Trinity said, "each child is unique and has something new to teach us. I look forward to learning and growing alongside the children each and every day"!
